This is special to us because this was our 5th consecutive time being apart of such a wonderful event! Jayneoni Moore has always been a huge supporter of Couture Expressions and we cannot thank her enough for the opportunities!

This year’s Boom Boom Room was held at a fabulous venue called “The Mark for Events” located in Los Angeles, CA in January.

T Simone Designs will show her Spring/Summer/Fall line of 2010 in Washington DC

T Simone Designs began designing artistic urban t-shirts, while officially launching in December of 2005, in Atlanta, GA. To date, T Simone Designs has provided wardrobe for models, make-up artists and photographers for photo shoots. In addition to clothing, T Simone has also designed fashion t-shirts and tote bags. The line is currently sold on her website T Simone Designs. T Simone specializes in simple designs with a unique appeal that are affordably priced. Each piece is hand-crafted and reflects the line’s theme, “being unique and stylish go hand in hand.” The designs allow young women to be practical and fashionable at the same time. Her latest collection reflects the artistic influence of today’s fashion conscience woman.

  No stranger to the lime light, Drew Dude has opened concerts for artists such as Lil’ Boosie, and BME Recording artist, Lil Scrappy; his song “Okey Dokey”, an upbeat and whimsical nod to ragtime music, debuted on Washington, DC’s popular hip hop and r&b station WPGC’s “Home Jams” segment, and ran as Home Jams Champion for 4 consecutive weeks. Drew Dude is currently in the studio producing new music for his EP (tentative release this summer), and is in the planning stages of a 6 city regional tour slated for Fall 2010. Find Drew Dude on i-Tunes to download his hit single “Okey Dokey”. We are very excited to have DrewDude perform at this event!!

You, your friends, and the rest of the DMV area are encouraged to visit our Blog site and Facebook Fan Page to vote for their favorite “look!” The contest runs from March 2010—May 2010 and a NEW winner and prize will be selected and featured every two weeks!!

This event was specifically held to benefit the children of Haiti! We cannot forget about those that are suffering after the devastating earthquake, especially the young children. Haiti is in need of everything we can give but the children are in dire need of diapers and formula, which JMCF made certain to provide!

Last night Adams Morgan Mainstreet hosted a successful wine tasting event at The District! The event was a great success!

We were entertained with LIVE music from Howard University’s own “Standing Room Only”. (www.dariussmithmusic.com)

Charlie Adler also enlightened us on his wine expertise with crowd participation! He also promoted his upcoming book “I Drink on the Job”.

 Everyone networking and having a GREAT time!
